Wallingford Homestead Pool Pavilion - Venue for hire

Availability

Hawkes Bay Homestead, Pool Pavilion.

Wallingford Homestead is an historic country house that offers the perfect blend of elegance and intimacy, with pretty gardens, expansive lawns and sweeping views of the hills.

The Pool Pavilion sits in a walled enclosure, west facing to catch the afternoon sun. The Pavilion has its own small kitchen, a fully licensed bar, open fireplace and overhead heaters for the winter. You can enjoy an intimate party, or spread out around the pool. In inclement weather there is an option to relocate indoors.

The solar heated pool is open from September to April and the underwater lights glow at nighttime.

The 65” Plasma screen has all Sky Sports television channels. In the height of the summer you can watch your favourite sports team,  music videos or movies while swimming in the pool.

Wallingford is 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Napier Airport, 3 hrs 30 minutes drive from Wellington, and 1 hr 45 minutes from Palmerston North.  Helicopters may land on paddocks around the homestead, and we have a smooth private airstrip which easily handles Cessna and similar class of aircraft.

Catering is provided by our Executive Chef, who will plan your menu with you.  There is no BYO catering. Accommodation is available in the homestead.

For an indoor function, please see our Drawing Room.
For a larger garden party, see Wallingford Homestead Garden.
