There is such magic in a rooftop party, catching the late afternoon breeze on a hot Hawke’s Bay day, watching the sun slide over the fields and the vines. And there’s nowhere better to party on the roof than above the Te Mata Winery offices in Havelock North.

These buildings were redesigned by Sir Ian Athfield in Hawke’s Bay’s iconic Art Deco and Spanish Mission style. The roof venue is used for meetings, functions and parties. There are two distinct roof top areas joined by a cool meeting room and a balcony, one roof looks south and west over the Havelock hills and paddocks, the other looks east out over the magnificent trees and vines.

For a meeting venue the room seats twelve around a board table, for a party there is room for 35 inside, or 75 sociably gathered on the decks.

There is a small kitchen servery on site, and a full kitchen downstairs (not included in room hire).
