Pukeora Estate - Venue for hire
Availability
Central Hawke’s Bay, estate venue
This remarkable, extended building is a large, versatile venue full of character. Built as a sanatorium during WWI on top of a hill for the fresh air, Pukeora Estate has literally breathtaking views across the valley to the ranges. The ex-hospital has good sized rooms, wide corridors and a great generosity of space.
The extensive indoor facilities are available for exclusive hire and represent extremely good value for money.
There are three main large function rooms:
- The pretty cafe seats 80 and flows out onto a sun drenched verandah with additional seating.
- The Ruahine Hall has a parquet wooden floor, seats 200 and has a raised stage
- The adjoining lino-floored Turiri Hall seats 200.
There are also breakout classrooms for 80 people and smaller seminar rooms.
Pukeora Estate is a working vineyard, is fully licensed and offers wine tastings and meals in the cafe and catering in the Ruahine Hall.
There is basic sleeping accommodation for 120, a commercial kitchen, and an indoor pool.
This venue suits large groups on a modest budget for a music, working, arts, educational or sports event, or for an exhibition or festival.
There is an option just to rent the cafe or one hall. Enquire for details.
