Hawke's Bay: classical musicians for events

Based in Hawke's Bay, Confetti is a vibrant group of experienced musicians who specialise in providing charming and professional musical entertainment for any function.   Our ensemble consists of two flutes and cello and this unique, dynamic combination is extremely versatile in a wide range of musical genres.  We have an extensive repertoire of pieces including jazz standards, classical favourites, fiery Latin styles, contemporary songwriters, and Art Deco classics, as well as being able to accommodate special requests.

Emily hails from England and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, while Dana and Paula grew up in Hawke’s Bay and both studied at Victoria University, Wellington.  We all have Honours Degrees in our instruments and have travelled and worked professionally in such orchestras as the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic, the New Zealand Chamber Orchestra and Wellington Sinfonia (now Orchestra Wellington).  We regularly present our own chamber concerts and are all actively involved in the local music scene as solo guest artists and instrumental teachers, as well as playing with groups such as the Hawke’s Bay Orchestra, Concord String Ensemble and Napier Operatic Society.
