Gardens & Dining Room at Duart House - Venue for hire
Availability
Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay: historic house venue.
All year around Duart House gardens are lovely; spring to autumn they are spectacular. With a large indoor dining room and 3 acres of garden, this is a classic venue for boutique weddings, parties, conferences, exhibitions & concerts.
There’s a covered 3m x 6m porch facing the lawn which may serve as a small stage area, and plenty of tables and chairs for the garden. There are several spaces around the gardens for a marquee or smaller gazebos and intimate bowers for a wedding ceremony.
The Dining Room in the 1882 historic house has a high ceiling and lots of natural light. It dresses prettily as a dining or event’s room. The small library may be available for the bride’s party or day office.
You are very welcome to bring music, decorators and caterers, or do your own thing. There is a kitchen in the homestead for your use, and cutlery/crockery for hire.
This is a residential area, we do respect our neighbours and our car park must be clear by 10.30pm.
