Nothing adds instant class to your party better than live music, and in Hawke’s Bay we are so lucky to have incredibly talented musicians whose sound – smooth or jumpy – enhances the sunshine mood and trips off the fairy lights sparkling on the grape vines.
Here are some of my favourites. Give them a call and get your dancing shoes on.
Mid life Crisis – This is feel good music you’ll recognise, classic dance tracks from the 60s though the rocking 70s and 80s to today’s favourites.
Confetti – Charming and versatile, this classical trio sound equally good with rosé or beer.
Nick Main – Wellington guitarist with a Hawke’s Bay sideline, Paul Simon brings all his kit, sets up in a small space and gets you singing along to some favourites. Did I say Paul Simon? I mean Nick Main.
Annabelle & Ash – beautiful voice, savvy guitar, adds class anywhere.
Verdant Blue – One of Hawke’s Bay popular regulars, playing the hits, well.
James Rochester – solo or with a band, talent on acoustic and electric guitar, covers and original music.
Eilish Rose – engaging singer/songwriter adds pizazz to your party.
Hawke’s Bay Jazz Club Big Band – gorgeously big and brazzy, unashamedly attention seeking.
Buckshot Billys – couldn’t stay off the dance floor with these guys, sore hips the next morning reminding me I am no longer 18.
