Hawke’s Bay, vineyard venue
The Cellar Door at de la terre is the real thing – the front room for a working winery where the winemaker offers a full and informative tasting session, including de la terre winemaking techniques and philosophy – which may include a tasting of unfinished wines from tanks or barrels. There are wines here unavailable anywhere else in New Zealand.
This is an atmospheric room for a small party of wine lovers who want something personal. With a booking we ask that you add in-house catering, which may include a fully licensed menu, platters or casual dining from our pizzas oven. Catering may be offset against your venue hire price.
There are outside seating areas, or for larger party see our Dining Room.
de la terre winery is a destination visit, and well worth the 20 minute drive from Hastings towards the ranges.
Available for private hire Tuesday – Thursday all year round, plus weekends during the winter. Licensed until 10pm.
