Hawkes Bay Homestead Venue.

The Wallingford Homestead drawing room has witnessed many executive meetings since this historic house was built by the Hon J D Ormond over 150 years ago.

The drawing room has native timber floors, two walls of windows providing abundant natural light, and a grand piano. This room can seat 20 for a presentation, and you can break in the adjoining sitting room. The rooms provide flexible, elegant space for meetings, with many other areas available around the homestead for breakout sessions and small focus groups, and extensive gardens when a walk is required for a peaceful break.

The homestead is an ideal venue for corporate retreats, executive meetings, round table discussions and stakeholder networking.

Wallingford is 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Napier Airport.  Helicopters may land on paddocks around the homestead, and there is a smooth private airstrip which easily handles Cessna and similar class of aircraft.

Facilities are modern with WiFi broadband internet, whiteboards and an office.

Catering is provided by our Executive Chef, who will plan your menu with you.  There is no BYO catering.  Accommodation is available in the homestead.

For an outdoor function, please see our Pool Pavilion.

For a garden event or wedding, please see Wallingford Homestead Garden.
