Hawke’s Bay, garden venue
Here’s a large lawn in lovely Pourerere valley on the coast of Hawke’s Bay – a tranquil, elegant setting for a wedding ceremony, auction fund raiser, classical concert or corporate party. Set up your event on Punawaitai Homestead’s Oval lawn and enjoy the many beautiful corners of the garden for your photos, and have drinks under the Plane tree with the dramatic Hawkes Bay hills in the background.
For a lively reception or later party, wander over the road to the Whare Paddock & Woolshed at Punawaitai.
Helicopter landing is available on a nearby paddock and there is an airstrip for small planes. Guest accommodation for up to 100 people in local beach baches can be arranged on request.
