Hawke’s Bay, lawn venue
Picture this: a wide flat lawn, backed with a grassy bank and wooded hills, looking forward over a vineyard to the Tuki Tuki River with the sun lowering over the Te Mata Peak range. There’s a swimming pool sparkling off to the side and a tree lined avenue through the vines.
Add a white Capri marquee floating on the lawn, your favourite people all dressed up and mingling over a glass of champagne and a bride in a dazzling white dress.
Hawke’s Bay is a fabulous wedding destination, with it’s glorious climate and scenery, and this lawn by the river really takes the cake. It’s a die-for venue for wedding photography, too.
The Marquee Lawn will seat 200 guests comfortably under a peg and pole marquee, or 80 under a Capri marquee. Marquees are available to hire on site. There is a small garden room – with a history – to use as a preparation room or quiet space.
This venue is 15 minutes drive over the river from Havelock North village, which has a good selection of accommodation and there is some accommodation on site. Please arrange a coach for your guests to minimise car numbers on site.
Event packages available for a simple wedding, enquire for price, details and availability.
We are sorry, there are no reviews yet for this accommodation.
Hastings, paired with Napier as the twin cities of the region, has not only a vibrant city, but the very varied surrounding hinterland of Hawke’s Bay. From traditional and modern vineyards to the coast and the hills, Hastings has venues for business and leisure, weddings and parties.
Known for food and wine, Hastings does entertainment well and stages a wide range of events. With it’s settled and glorious weather this is the destination for outdoor events for a larger part of the year.
It only rains for about 2 months – unfortunately no one knows which two months. But for an outdoor event, Hastings is a very good bet.
