How recommendations work

indieVenue is a network that event managers can tap into in order to build personal events. It gets away from the “one size fits all” of conference centres and large hotels, and allows people – after they find their perfect venue – to put together their own selection of suppliers. By recommending each other, suppliers and venues make great events happen and support the local industry.

When you recommend someone, they are notified and given the option to recommend you back.

Suppliers:

You should recommend venues where you know your way around, are comfortable with the management and are confident you can provide a great service.
Maximum 10 venues please – just your current favourites. You can swap these at any time.

Venues:

Recommending appropriate suppliers allows users to picture their complete event with you, making a booking far more likely. Have a look through our suppliers, and select those you would welcome at your venue.
